Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Revenue Cycle Hospital Liaison is responsible for acting as a single conduit between TUKHS main campus and community hospitals. The Revenue Cycle Hospital Liaisons will support connectivity with Greater Kansas sites and are responsible for managing a team of Hospital Liaison staff/ business analysts to partner with sites and support critical activities. They will provide oversight of facility revenue, monitoring and addressing issues related to facility revenue by liaising with the appropriate stakeholders and serving as the main point of contact for questions/issues. Additionally, the Revenue Cycle Hospital Liaison will provide support to TUKHS teams with core Revenue Cycle capabilities, as necessary, including partnering to remediate issues within denials resolution and appeals and identification of trends and feedback loops. In partnership with TUKHS leaders, the Revenue Cycle Hospital Liaison will be co-responsible for analytics/reporting, denials prevention, new service setup, and charge capture. They will coordinate and streamline revenue operations communications with sites, as well as key stakeholders. This role will be hybrid, including expectations for on-site work on a weekly basis as well as telecommuting flexibility. This role will be needed on site at any campus to support its functions across the health system.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Active contributor to the strategic direction for the revenue cycle organization and collaborate with hospital / facility leadership to drive alignment
- Services to liaise between site stakeholders as a single point of contact and TUKHS leaders and teams
- Drives focus, efficiency, and role clarity across teams focused on on-site revenue operations activities
- Monitor and address issues related to facility revenue by liaising with appropriate stakeholders and serve as the main point of contact for questions/issues
- Using data and observation, develops and implements efficient and effective operational policies, processes, best practices, and technologies
- Oversees efforts to liaise with sites and support critical activities
- Promotes compliance with regulations and governance and communicates changes to policies
- Recommends and engages with third party vendors where business case for performance exists
- Identifies staff volume management opportunities, providing suggestions for flexing resources across facility-based work queues based on volume demands
- Aids in onboarding new practice leaders to align them with organizational revenue cycle goals.
- Champions the dissemination and education of advanced revenue cycle reports to departmental leadership, fostering greater engagement and actionable insights.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
- Designated Epic training to be completed within 6 months of hire into position.
- 6 or more years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
- Ability to work on-site regularly with telecommuting flexibility
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
- 7 or more years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
Preferred Licensure and Certification
- Certified Revenue Cycle Professional
Knowledge Requirements
- Demonstrates competency and leadership experience in a large, complex organization with multiple locations
- Strong executive communication and ability to influence stakeholders
- Strong operational management and process/technology optimization skills
- Excellent personnel management and organizational management skills – including written and oral communication, relationship management, customer service, and organization
- Comprehensive knowledge of Revenue Cycle, Revenue Operations, and industry best practices
- Prior healthcare experience and/or Revenue Operations experience
- Ability to travel between Health System locations with minimal to no notice.
