Physician - Neurologist – Resident Clinic Supervisor / General Neurology
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, is seeking a part-time Neurologist with a strong interest in resident education and supervision to join our academic faculty. This position plays a key role in supporting the department’s mission to deliver high-quality patient care and provide exceptional training for future neurologists. About the Position:
- Serve as attending physician for resident continuity clinics, providing direct supervision, teaching, and mentorship to neurology residents as they develop outpatient clinical skills.
- Provide outpatient care to patients in the general neurology clinic.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings; contribute to departmental educational activities and didactic sessions.
- Engage in scholarly activities, such as quality improvement, education research, or clinical research in general neurology.
- Contribute to the neurology residency and medical school programs, helping foster a supportive and high-quality learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Board certified/eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
